Archeology and Ancient History of Northeast Ohio In-Person
Dr. Brian Redmond, Curator Emeritus of Archeology at Cleveland Museum of Natural History, will describe the ancient people of northeast Ohio as told by archeological research over the last 100 years. Much of the focus will be on Ashtabula County and the site of the Indian Mound Metropark in Conneaut,
Dr. Redmond has researched numerous pre-European contact, Native American sites in the lower Ohio Valley and lower Great Lakes region. He is the perfect person to introduce us to those who gave our home region our name and who must have enjoyed its bounty of "plenty of fish."
